Vintage carved Italian or French Regency style pair of his and hers fireside parlor chairs, in original gold and tan pinstripe, with loose zippered seat cushions and glazed carved details. This stunning set of mid century arm chairs feature gently curved lines and chippy carved framing. Can be used as-is or re-upholstered. Overall structurally sound, clean and sturdy. The fabric has some wear and tear (most notably some missing stitches along piping, wear at the front corners where the lower arms meet the cushion, plus a tear along the larger chair's side-see photos). Most wear not readily noticeable with normal viewing. Approx. measurements: 35.5 (smaller)/39.5 (larger) inch back height, 17.5 inch seat height, 35 inches across arm to arm, 33 inches deep.
